WHO AM I
I’m a self taught software developer, writing software since 1986. Managed to skip college in order to keep writing code in whatever language was available at the time, and have been doing it since then.
I’ve been writing internet software for over 15 years, and founded Banshai in 2004 where I’ve been working at different time intervals and learned (mostly the hard way) some things about software architecture, user experience and software products design and management, on top of all the boring things you need to know when running a business.
I’m a good listener, introvert and a bit of a coffee geek. Already deleted my Facebook account, never wear a tie and you will see me disappear when it’s ‘networking’ time at any event.
WHAT I DO
Software product design/management
I’m currently the product manager at Banshai, and spend most of my time in ‘startup mode’, building new products.
Over 15 years of experience in the field, mostly around open source platforms and Service Oriented Architectures.
iOS Apps (and Android too)
I’ve been designing and coding mobile apps since 2009 and iOS is my platform of choice, but I also enjoy coding in Java from time to time.
More than writing software, I try to create digital experiences that actually solve real world problems. UX should be at the core of every software product.
